A Dreamy Engagement Session in Monaco
Monaco: its glamorous allure is the perfect and stunning Mediterranean backdrop. It sets the stage for romantic tales that come to life. In the heart of this enchanting principality, C&P chose me as their photographer for their wedding. They decided to meet me in Monaco for their engagement session. This was the start of their adventure towards forever and I was delighted to have been part of it.
My name is Sylvia Calmet. I am a destination wedding photographer in Provence, South of France. Since 2018 I have been working as a photographer around Aix and Marseille. Welcome to this website where you can discover stories about brides, grooms, families and love. You will find pictures and stories of my work in this beautiful area where I have the chance to live and work. I am your special guide for your wedding in Provence.
Bienvenue!
Capturing Love in the Heart of Monaco:
Nestled between the azure waters of the Mediterranean and the lush hills of the French Riviera, Monaco’s timeless charm served as the ideal canvas for this magical day. The engagement session commenced near the iconic Casino Square, where the couple reveled in the sophistication of their surroundings. Against the backdrop of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the duo embraced, their love echoing the grandeur of the historic architecture. Christina wanted to come to Monaco so much because she has been working there for many years. She knows the place by heart taking us in front of their favorite hotel, small streets and amazing view.
Most of the time, I’m the one who shows the bride and groom around. As they don’t live in the area, I take them there according to their wishes and what best suits their taste. In this case, it was the bride who knew the city so well that I let myself be guided.
Sunset around Monaco for their engagement session:
After a couple of pictures downtown we moved to Monaco’s Old Town. I could see the joy of connection between those two love birds. Monaco’s charming setting is perfect for capturing intimate moments. The mix of cobblestone streets and sea views is an ideal setting for a romantic session.
As the engagement session drew to a close, we went to P’s favorite bar to enjoy the rest of our evening. It’s very important to me that you both have what you want during the session. Often, sessions are easier for ladies because they saw some online. If we can chat afterwords in front of a coffee, like in Gordes on morning session, or in a bar with a cocktail it’s perfect! It’s a time when we can still continue to know each other more and talk about your wedding.
This Monaco engagement session encapsulated the essence of love against a backdrop of timeless elegance. My bridal couples are chic, distinguished and fun. If that sounds like you, maybe we should meet.
