I’m Sylvia Calmet, a wedding and family photographer based in Provence, France. As a destination wedding photographer for over 8 years, I have been working with wedding professionals for over 3 years. Most of them want to clarify their vision, strengthen their storytelling, or structure their business in a more fluid and aligned way. Beyond documenting love stories and family connections, I have a deep desire to share what I’ve learned, both on the artistic side and the human, professional one.

Mentoring sessions: half-day or full-day fully tailored to you ! 

I offer one-to-one sessions, designed around you, your needs, your questions, your creative journey.
Each session can take place in person or online, depending on what works best.

How my education program works:

  • Before our session: we talk about what you’d like to focus on: creative direction, business, editing, confidence, etc.

  • During: depending on the format (half or full day), we review your work and your brand, do a live shooting or portfolio critique, and work hands-on on your key challenges.

  • After: you’ll receive concrete guidance, resources, and feedback to help you move forward.

You’ll leave with more clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of connection to your art and to yourself.

Half-day mentoring : 3 hours to refocus & refine 350 euros

A three-hour one-to-one session designed to bring clarity and direction to your photography journey. Together we can:

  • Review your portfolio, website or Instagram with personalized feedback.

  • Define your visual identity and refine your storytelling through light, emotion, and simplicity.

  • Explore your workflow,  from shooting to delivery, to make it smoother and more aligned with your values.

  • Discuss client experience, pricing, or business strategy with honesty and calm

Full-day mentoring : from vision to real-life experience 650 euros

Do you want to go deeper, discuss and practice with a real couple?

  • Morning: review of your work, artistic direction, and goals. Identifying your strengths and what to refine.

  • Afternoon: live shooting with a couple that I’ll organize. You’ll first observe my approach to light, connection, and movement, then photograph alongside me with guidance and feedback.

  • End of day: debrief, image review, and personalized advice to integrate everything into your own practice.
    You’ll leave with images for your portfolio, a stronger sense of creative direction, and renewed inspiration to tell stories that feel true to you.

1. Style & artistic direction: understanding what makes your visual style unique, building a recognisable photographic signature, deepening your storytelling and artistic intention.

2. Portfolio & website: in-depth review of your current work, image selection, consistency, storytelling …

3. Workflow & organisation: simplifying your process from initial contact to delivery, saving time, improving consistency and peace of mind, tools, automation, communication, managing client expectations, structure a smooth and professional client experience … 

4. Business & positioning: understanding your market, defining a clear and aligned offer, pricing strategy, how to attract more aligned customers?

6. Practice & role-playing: accompanied shoot with a real couple, couple direction: gentleness, fluidity, authenticity, detailed feedback after the session … 

Speaking & workshops

I also speak and teach during photography workshops and creative gatherings, especially on topics like detail storytelling, visual legacy and flatlays.

Photographing retreats & journeys

Alongside my wedding and family work, I also accompany retreats and wellness experiences, moments of transformation, introspection, and presence. If you organize personal development retreats, I can join as your photographer: quietly documenting the energy, the beauty, and the emotion that unfold.

I also offer photo workshops within retreats: gentle, mindful introductions to photography as a tool for awareness and self-expression.
Through the lens, participants learn to observe, to slow down, and to capture what feels true.

Together, we create images that are more than beautiful. They become traces of a shared journey forever to remember!
