Romantic Couple Sessions Across Paris
Paris is a dream destination for romantic photoshoots, with each arrondissement offering its own unique charm. Beyond the bohemian streets of Montmartre, couples find equally stunning backdrops in locations like the Palais Royal and the Louvre, which blend elegance, history, and artistry.
Last October I had the chance to travel to this amazing city for a whole week: Alvin Ailey shows from NYC, an evening at Le Moulin Rouge, exhibition and of course meeting clients. It’s was perfect: I got to see two 2024 couples after their wedding I photographed this year and 2025 couples. It was not easy to be at the same time on a family trip and business trip, but I managed and I was really happy to photograph couples in the “ city of Love “ . It was a dream come drue : romantic couple sessions across Paris were on the top of my list !

Montmartre: A Timeless Romance
In Montmartre, couples are transported to a world of winding cobblestone streets, cozy cafes, and the iconic Sacré-Cœur Basilica. The charm of Montmartre lies in its intimate, village-like atmosphere, which invites couples to relax and share candid moments in a setting straight out of a classic French film. Here, the natural romance of the neighborhood becomes the perfect complement to any love story.
Before the sunrise and in front of the sacré-coeur : the whole city looks asleep. And then, as soon as the suns goes up, it’s different. Before that, walking in the street is a charming mix between people who are waking up and the smell of the croissants in every bakeries. Can you feel it?
Seeing the sunrise from Montmartre was, also for me, an experience.
Palais Royal: Elegant and Sophisticated
For couples seeking an atmosphere of understated luxury, the Palais Royal is a must. This 17th-century palace, with its grand architecture and the famous Colonnes de Buren, provides a sophisticated yet playful setting. The polished stone columns and manicured gardens allow couples to feel both regal and relaxed. As you stroll through the grounds, you’ll find spots for both formal and lighthearted shots, making it a favorite for couples looking to capture a classic Parisian elegance. Very romantic!
Same as the small streets of Montmartre: if you want to enjoy it and feel like Paris is all yours, you have to be there very early in the morning.
Louvre: Iconic and Breathtaking
No romantic couple’s session in Paris would be complete without visiting the Louvre. Against the backdrop of the world-famous glass pyramid, the Louvre offers a blend of modern and historical grandeur. Couples can pose along the colonnaded corridors or on the Cour Carrée, capturing the magnificent contrasts of stone and glass. Again, early mornings or twilight hours are ideal for avoiding crowds, ensuring that your photos feel intimate and serene.

Each location, from the quaint charm of Montmartre to the grandeur of the Palais Royal and Louvre, offers a different facet of Parisian beauty. Together, they capture the city’s blend of romance, art, and history—making Paris an unforgettable setting for couples’ photography.
